In 1974, Frank Merrigan, fulfilled his lifelong dream of having his own law practice, opening his office in the Sheetmetal Workers Building in Dorchester Lower Mills. Bill Merrigan worked for his father through Braintree High School, Boston College, and Suffolk Law until passing the bar in 1987. The firm relocated to its current office in Braintree in 1992. Two years later, David Merrigan expanded the family business when he left a career in printing sales and joined forces with his father and brother. Bill’s son, Kyle Merrigan, added a third generation to the family business when he joined the practice in 2021. Today, the brothers and Kyle carry on Frank’s tradition of treating every client as a close friend.
